About UROG
Mission Statement
The mission of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Grants (UROG) is to promote and facilitate undergraduate, student-driven, faculty-mentored research and creative projects at the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC). By expanding access to meaningful research and creative experiences, UROG aims to support students in developing their critical inquiry skills in preparation for their academic and professional journey.
What does UROG offer?
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Grant (UROG) offers funding opportunities for undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC), to cover costs associated with a research or creative project under the supervision of their UAC faculty mentors. UROG offers reimbursement for future purchases of research supplies, special training fees, participant incentives, or other research or production costs related to the student's original research or creative work. Please note that it does not offer a stipend similar to the UROP program.
UROG offers three different types of grants: Empirical, Creative, and Exploratory grants.
