Room Types & Furnitures

IGC Housing has two residence hall buildings divided by room type, single and double, and shared by students from all universities at the IGC campus.

To ensure the safety and privacy of our residents, IGC Housing is gender segregated. Each floor/wing is designated for either males or females, and entry into areas designated for the opposite gender is prohibited, in accordance with IGC regulations.

In general, residency period for spring and fall semester usually lasts for 16 - 17 weeks (about 4 months) depending on the university calendar. Late Check-In Policy

It is crucial that you adhere to the designated check-in period. IGC Housing enforces a strict check-in policy, and failure to check in during the assigned time without prior notice may result in the cancellation of your residency. If you are unable to check in on time, you must submit a late check-in application in advance. To apply for late check-in, send email to IGC Housing directly at housing@igc.or.kr with your UNID, name, and reason for late arrival.

    Tuberculosis Chest X-Ray Test

IGC Housing requires all residents to submit negative TB test result at the point of check-in. Students are required to provide a written result of chest X-ray test issued within 3 months from the date of check-in. Documents in English and Korean can be accepted. If you are an international student and having difficulty getting the chest x-ray testing done in your home country, we recommend taking the test in Korea.

Below are the clinics you could visit to get the testing done. You will need to bring your passport. No appointment is needed but expect 15 - 30 minutes of wait time. Information below is subject to change.
