“Bringing my own film creations to life and presenting them at film festivals is a dream I’ve had for as long as I can remember, and now it’s time to turn that dream into reality. Remember, time flies, and opportunities don’t always come knocking twice. So, when an opportunity presents itself, seize it with both hands. You never know where it might lead you, or what unexpected successes may come your way.

My personal growth journey has been deeply intertwined with my passion for filmmaking. By exploring various genres and perspectives, I’ve not only broadened my knowledge but also deepened my appreciation for this art form.

Professor Simon McEnteggart has been a beacon of guidance throughout my academic journey in film. His constant support and encouragement have played a crucial role in boosting my confidence and igniting my passion. Being a part of the ‘Pocket Production’ film club has also been an invaluable experience, providing me with hands-on practice and a community of like-minded enthusiasts.

My fascination with cultural differences began in my childhood, which was filled with extensive travel. This curiosity led me to see filmmaking as a potent medium for showcasing diverse stories and viewpoints. Studying abroad expanded my horizons even further, exposing me to new cultures and fueling my pursuit of this passion even more.

Despite the challenges you faced during the pandemic, it’s essential to envision your future and pursue your dream. Take charge of your path and create your own luck as you embark on the next chapter of your life.”
