Meet Our Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are a group of current University of Utah students whose purpose is to provide a knowledgeable and authentic perspective on student life at the U. Think of them as built-in friends and mentors, ready to show you around campus (virtually and in person), answer your questions, and empower you as you begin this new chapter.

Hello everyone! My name is Tyler, and I am senior studying Honors Psychology who attended the Utah Asia Campus during the Spring 2024 and the Summer 2025 academic terms. I loved my time there and was able to travel to many cool places in Asia such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan! I love to share my experiences and advice with students so they can experience how awesome UAC and South Korea is. I am from Utah, but I can’t wait to travel out of the country next.
Hi! My name is Ava. I am originally from Iowa, and I am in my junior year at the University of Utah pursuing a degree in Nursing. I attended the Utah Asia Campus in Spring 2024 with Global Quest. On campus, I am involved with my sorority Delta Gamma, and volunteer at Primary Children in the Emergency Department. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors, hiking, skiing, hanging out with friends, and any spontaneous adventure:) While attending the Utah Asia Campus, I was able to cross 6 countries off my bucket list and I hope to cross off more in the future. I look forward to working with you in the future.
Hi, I’m Eliza! I’m from Utah and I’m a sophomore. I’m majoring in Communications and minoring in Korean. I studied abroad at the Utah Asia Campus for a year. My hobbies are volleyball, traveling, and cooking!
Hi, nice to meet you all! My name is Dagyeong, and I’m from South Korea. Just call me DJ!
I study HBA Communication and Political Science, and I studied at the U Asia Campus for 3 years. I recently moved to SLC this fall to finish my last year! I am happy to be in SLC, a peaceful, vast campus, finally, and nature-friendly, though I was surprised that I need a car to access the city more often. I love traveling, getting good food, cleaning, and spending some time with my friends. I look forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you more!
Hi everyone! My name is Cienna, and I am a senior majoring in Psychology, minoring in Urban Ecology, and Human Development and Family Studies. I completed my first three years at the University of Utah Asia Campus and am currently studying at the Salt Lake City campus.
Experiencing both campuses greatly enriched my university life by offering diverse academic and extracurricular opportunities on and off campus. At the Asia Campus, I especially enjoyed building close connections with professors and staff, who consistently provided valuable guidance and support. Through these opportunities, I was able to visit Busan, Japan, and Singapore to attend academic conferences, as well as Taiwan and Hong Kong for travel. These experiences helped me develop a global perspective and encouraged me to step beyond my comfort zone in pursuit of personal and academic growth. I am excited to share my experiences and help students make the most of international opportunities. I look forward to connecting and communicating with you!
Hello! I’m Carson, originally from Michigan and currently a junior studying Business Marketing at the University of Utah. I’ve studied abroad twice, first at the Utah Asia Campus through the Global QUEST program in Spring 2024 and later in Barcelona, Spain in Fall 2025. During those experiences, I traveled to 19 countries and immersed myself in many diverse cultures, shaping my global mindset. Back in Utah, I spend my time skiing, hiking, camping, and exploring Utah’s many national parks, and usually with a camera in hand since I’m also a photographer! I’m looking forward to connecting and working with you, and always happy to chat about learning abroad and travel.
Hi everyone! I'm Ben, and I'm a sophomore Biochemistry major who went to the Utah Asia Campus in Spring 2025 with the Global Quest program! I was born and raised in Utah. The biggest adjustment in transitioning back and forth was the size of the campus! In Korea, the school was 3-5 minutes away from the dorms, and in SLC, it's around 20. I really enjoyed both campuses and the opportunity they have given me!
