Welcome to UAC Community!

We are excited to have you join our community. The New Student Orientation is designed to officially welcome students and families to our community. It is also meant to acclimate and transition new students to the institution, expose new students to the broad educational opportunities, and integrate new students into the life of the University of Utah.

At the orientation, you will:

  • Meet students, faculty, and staff in the U Asia Campus community to build connections

  • Gain an understanding of your degree requirements and register for your classes
  • Be familiar with various resources available to students
  • Learn about student rights and responsibilities
  • Have fun and make friends!

Spring 2025 Orientation Dates:

  • International Student Orientation: February 6 ~ 7
  • New Student Orientation: February 11 ~13

Orientation: Who Needs to Attend?

New Student Orientation is a three-day program, and attendance is mandatory for all first-time students at the Asia Campus. Graduate students and learning abroad students from the Salt Lake City Campus are required to attend specific portions of the program.

Parent Orientation

Parent, Family & Supporter Orientation is a one-day event designed to provide valuable information and connect you with the campus community. The program includes:

  • A 2-hour Information Session (available via Zoom)
  • A Welcome Reception with students

Further details will be provided once your student registers you for the Family Orientation.

 

Meet Orientation Leader

Orientation Leaders are dedicated student guides who play a crucial role in welcoming new students to the campus community. They are here to ensure a smooth transition by greeting newcomers, providing support throughout the orientation programs, and helping them navigate their first experiences at the University of Utah Asia Campus.

Our leaders will reach out to you 4-6 weeks before the semester begins to establish contact and assist with your onboarding process.
