Primary Logos

The University of Utah Asia Campus’ primary logos serve as the central visual representation of the institution’s identity.

Institutional University Asia Campus’ Logo

The institutional logo of the University of Utah Asia campus comprises three essential components: the interlocking UU icon and the accompanying wordmark, “The University of Utah” and “Asia Campus.” These elements are designed to function together as a unified mark and must not be resized independently, rearranged, or otherwise altered. This cohesive presentation reinforces the connection between University of Utah Health, Athletics, and the broader institutional brand, ensuring a consistent and recognizable identity across all university entities.

The institutional logo is the primary visual representation of the university and is intended for external use to signify and promote the institution as a whole. Its consistent application across communications helps maintain the integrity and reputation of the University of Utah Asia Campus in public and professional settings.

Horizontal Institutional University Logo

Whenever possible, the Institutional University Logo should be used as the primary mark. In cases where space or layout constraints prevent its use, the horizontal logo is an acceptable alternative. Regardless of format, all elements of the logo are designed to function as a unified mark and must not be resized independently, rearranged, or otherwise altered in any way.

Namdaemun Icon

Namdaemun/Sungnyemun is one of the most famous landmarks in South Korea. This pagoda-style gate is one of eight in the Seoul City Wall and dates back to the 14th century. It is considered a National Treasure.

A special icon was designed as a nod to the location of the University of Utah’s Asia Campus. The unique architecture of South Korea serves as a place-making tool--visually signifying to prospective students in Utah that the campus is located in Asia, and acknowledging the history and pride-of-place of our beautiful host country.

The “Namdaemun” icon is not a logo, but a design element. It should never be used in place of the official U Asia Campus logo.
