Soyoung Jung
Bio
Soyoung Jung is a Course Instructor at the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah Asia Campus. She teaches courses in business statistics and economics, with an emphasis on applied decision-making, data analysis, and real-world business contexts. She previously served as an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Finance at University of Maryland Global Campus, where she taught MBA courses in corporate finance and leadership.
Before and alongside her academic career, she gained professional experience in finance, investor relations, CRM analytics, and business management, including roles at Samsung Securities and entrepreneurial companies.
She earned her MBA with a concentration in Finance and Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management and her B.A. in English Language and Literature, with a minor in Education, from Yonsei University. She also completed the Financial Mastership Program for finance professionals at the KAIST Graduate School of Finance and is a CFA charterholder. Her interests include applied business statistics, macroeconomics, finance education, capital market valuation, financial literacy, and data-driven decision-making. She is also passionate about student career development.
