Jun Heo
Bio
Dr. Heo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Utah. Before joining the U, he spent 15 years in academia, including serving as an associate professor and area head of Digital Advertising at Louisiana State University. Dr. Heo earned his doctorate in mass communication from the University of Florida, with an emphasis in advertising, and holds a master’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University. His research focuses on emerging advertising media, media audiences, media effects, and the advertising industry. Dr. Heo also brings a wealth of industry experience, having worked as a media director and planner at renowned global advertising agencies, such as Dentsu Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather, and Universal McCann.
