Hwan Yong Lee joins the University of Utah Asia Campus as a mathematics professor. Prior to joining the Asia Campus, Professor Hwan Yong Lee taught a wide variety of math courses at Drexel University. Professor Lee received his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Utah and M.S. in applied Mathematics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Professor Lee has lived in Korea before going abroad for his Ph.D. His research area is Electromagnetic wave propagation in composite media, optimization, and inverse problem.
