We can't wait to welcome you to Incheon for the 10th Anniversary of the University of Utah Asia Campus. Please read through the event information below and register to attend. All events are free and family-friendly, unless otherwise noted, however all events require registration to attend. Note that there are two registration forms—one for events and one for hotel accommodations. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

  • Thursday, September 26

    0900 | Morning tour of Songdo and Incheon
    Explore Songdo and Incheon from an open-top double-decker bus. Our bus will drop passengers off for short walks to notable sites and then pick them up for a drive to the next destination, allowing visitors to see as much of Incheon as possible. Find more information about this tour.

    1200 | Interactive Tour of U Asia Campus
    See what has changed during our campus’s first decade and get a glimpse into what’s next for the facility as the U Asia Campus continues to grow. Choose from four tour times, departing on the hour from 1200-1500.

    1600 | Family BBQ & Carnival
    Bring the family for an afternoon of excitement at the official kick-off event for the 10th Anniversary Celebration. Enjoy thrilling games, carnival rides, live music, and captivating entertainment. Complimentary snacks and a variety of complimentary food options will be available. The carnival will be spread across the vibrant Incheon Global Campus from 1600 - 1900.

    0800-1600 | Private Tour of Seoul
    IMPORTANT: Please note that this is a full-day activity that will take you an hour away from campus. You will leave the Sheraton Hotel at 0800 and arrive back around 1600. If you select this option, you will not be available to participate in the cultural activities listed below. Join us for a private tour of Seoul. Our bus will drop us off for short, guided excursions to notable sites, allowing visitors to enjoy Namsan Tower, Gyeonbokgung Palace, Gwangjang Market, and shopping in Insadong, all in one day.

    IMPORTANT: Please note that these activities will be held in Incheon. If you select this option, you will not be available to participate in the Tour of Seoul listed above.

    Experience the heart of Korean cuisine and learn the art of making this staple dish firsthand.

    U Asia Campus students and department will spotlight their research, accomplishments, and highlights from over the years.

    Join us for drinks, appetizers, and the unveiling of our capital campaign.

    1900 | Film Showcase
    Join the Film & Media Arts department at Megabox in Triple Street to experience some of the best student films.

    2100 | Karaoke & Bowling Alley
    Continue the fun and excitement at the Zeus Bowl and Lala Karaoke in Triple Street on us!

    18:30 | 10th Anniversary Gala at the Paradise Hotel
    Don your formal attire to mark this milestone occasion with the entire U Asia Campus community. The fabulous Paradise Hotel will set the stage for our festive celebration. Drinks and dinner included. Please note this is an adult-only event.

  • The U Asia Campus has secured a limited number of local hotel rooms at a discounted, package rate.

    If you are interested in reserving one of these rooms, please select one of two options:
    1) A four-night stay in campus,
    2) A two-night stay at the gala venue.

    Please note that there are no options of adding or deleting days to this package. If your travel plans require more, fewer, or different dates, please book accommodations that work for you and your guests directly with the hotel. Do not delay, as accommodations are limited in Incheon during this week.

    The guest’s credit card will be required at check-in to cover incidental expenses.

The U Asia Campus

is an expanded campus of the University of Utah in the United States. Opened in Songdo International City, Incheon in 2014, the campus offers general education courses and hosts nine majors, including Accounting, Communication, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Film and Media Arts, Games, Information Systems, Psychology, and Urban Ecology. Students who enroll at the U Asia Campus study in Incheon for three years, then travel to Utah for a year to finish their degree and receive the same diploma as the University of Utah in the United States. U students enrolled through the Salt Lake City campus can also have an impactful international experience at the U Asia Campus, take courses in English from U faculty, and pay in-state tuition for up to two semesters.
