Next Steps for Enrollment

Congratulations on your acceptance to The University of Utah Asia Campus! As you begin to plan for your future as a University of Utah student, there are a few important steps in completing your enrollment process.

1. Pay the $1,000 Enrollment Deposit
The first step to becoming a Utah Asia Campus student is to submit your enrollment deposit. This non-refundable deposit secures your spot in the class and allows you to begin preparing for the semester. Instructions for paying the deposit can be found here.

2. Create Your Campus Information Services (CIS) Account
Using the University ID and password included in your admissions letter, log on to your CIS account at This will be your student portal for the next four years.

3. Activate your University E-Mail Account (uMail)
Using your uNID (student ID) and your new password (MMDDYY), you can check your University E-mail (uMail). You can create an alias or forward your e-mail at But remember—all official university communication will be sent to your uMail account.

4. Submit a Housing Application
Applications for on-campus housing will be made available through the housing office at a later date, and you will be contacted with more information. To learn more about living on campus, visit asiacampus/student-life/. On-campus housing is required for all undergraduate students during their time at the Asia Campus.

5. Submit Your Final Transcripts
Admitted students must submit final high school and/or college transcripts as soon as they are available. Students who do not submit these transcripts by February 23, 2018 may be prevented from registering for courses.

6. Attend New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation for the Spring 2018 semester will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018. Attendance for new students is mandatory. More information may be found at
