McDonald’s Happy Walk (RMHC Korea Booth)


The University of Utah Asia Campus Career & Internship Development Center, proudly participated in the 2025 McDonald’s Happy Walk in Seoul. The event was organized to support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families stay close to their hospitalized children while they receive medical care.

Held in a festive and heartwarming atmosphere, the Happy Walk brought together a vibrant community of families, volunteers, and sponsors. The event featured an uplifting community walk, interactive booths, and family-friendly activities—all focused on raising awareness and support for RMHC’s vital mission.

UAC interns played an essential role in the smooth execution of the event. From setting up booths in the early morning to guiding participants throughout the day and managing teardown efforts, the students demonstrated teamwork, professionalism, and a deep sense of civic engagement. Their efforts contributed to a well-organized and meaningful experience for everyone in attendance.

Beyond logistics, the event also provided UAC students with a unique opportunity to engage in nonprofit outreach, develop event coordination skills, and interact with professionals from the corporate and social sectors. For many, it was a powerful reminder of the impact of giving back and the importance of service-based learning.

Participants shared that the event was both fun and fulfilling, offering a chance to not only contribute to a worthy cause but also grow personally and professionally. Many of them, who expressed interest in continuing to support similar community-based initiatives in the future.
