The University of Utah Asia Campus produced its first group of alumni at the University of Utah Salt Lake City on May 4. Students who each spent the final year of their studies at the home campus as part of the University’s 3+1 program joined local students for the Commencement Ceremony, marking the first graduation event for Asia Campus students.
On May 23, a Commencement Ceremony was held specifically for Public Health program students at the University of Utah Asia Campus. As The University of Utah was producing its first graduate-level alumni from the Asia Campus, the leadership at the Asia Campus along with Dean Dr. Stephen C. Alder and Dr. Kola Okuyemi from Salt Lake City attended the Ceremony to congratulate the graduating students.
Meanwhile, the Master of Public Health program at the home campus has an excellent reputation in the industry for developing expertly equipped professionals. Results show that 90% of all graduates begin their careers in the public health sector within 12 months of graduation.
