Summer classes will be held for the first time at The University of Utah Asia Campus. Three classes including Korean Media and Culture (June 22 ~ June 30), Video Production (June 22 ~ August 4), and Politics of Asia (July 10 ~ August 3), are being offered to encourage students to enjoy a more rewarding and meaningful summer on Asia Campus.
Professor Choi Suhi with the Department of Communication at The University of Utah Salt Lake City Campus will teach about media and culture in Korea. Plenty of international students are expected to participate in the course and broaden their perspectives on media, public relations, and culture in South Korea. Students will also be able to earn four academic credits with the Video Production course this summer. Film and media arts students, as well as communications students, will be able to improve their technical capacities with this course. Meanwhile, the three credit Asian politics course will focus on a number of issues such as international conflict resolution, international security, and nationalism.
The summer semester has been designed to help students to take diverse classes, utilizing the same curriculum as Salt Lake City Campus.
