Simon McEnteggart is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) of film and cultural theory in the Film and Media Arts Department, at the University of Utah Asia Campus. Originally from London, UK, he previously taught a variety of film courses at the University of Sunderland before moving to Korea, working as a film writer for the Korean Film Council, Bucheon International Film Festival, and other outlets. Simon also works in film production, and his domestic violence short film was invited to several film festivals. He is currently working with the Korean Film Archive to create a documentary about the roles women have played in Korean cinematic history.
