Hamin Cho Featured in “Humans of the U”

Hamin Cho, a 2026 psychology graduate and member of the first honors undergraduate cohort at the University of Utah Asia Campus, was featured in the University of Utah’s “Humans of the U” series.

In the feature, Cho reflects on studying psychology in both Incheon and Salt Lake City, joining the Honors College during her junior year, and completing her honors thesis with Dr. Ha Na Yoo. She shares how hands-on research transformed her understanding of psychology and inspired her to explore how people interpret the world across digital, social and cultural contexts.

Cho also highlights the support she received from faculty and staff across both campuses, describing how it strengthened her sense of belonging at the U and encouraged her to pursue academia.

Following graduation, Cho will continue her studies in psychology at New York University, with the goal of becoming both a researcher and an educator.

UAC Psychology congratulates Cho on this recognition and celebrates her accomplishments as a member of the Asia Campus’s first honors undergraduate cohort.
