Alumni Lunch Event with GM Korea Tech Lead

The Psychology Department hosted a special Alumni Lunch Event on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at U108, giving students the opportunity to connect with Psychology alumnus Minseok Lee, now an Immersive Tech Lead at General Motors Technical Center Korea (GMTCK).

During the event, Lee shared how his background in psychology shaped his career journey in the technology industry. Through his talk, “Confounders to Correlation: An Uncontrolled Career Experiment,” he encouraged students to stay curious, adaptable, and open to unexpected opportunities.

Students learned how psychological principles can be applied beyond traditional career paths, especially in interdisciplinary fields such as technology and user experience. Lee also reflected on the challenges and experiences that helped guide his professional growth after graduation.

Following the presentation, students had the chance to ask questions and speak with Lee in a relaxed lunch setting. The event welcomed students from various majors, creating an engaging space for conversation, networking, and interdisciplinary exchange.

The Psychology Department thanked Lee for returning to campus to share his experiences and inspire current students. The department plans to continue creating opportunities for students to connect with alumni working across diverse industries.
