Utah Asia Campus Signs MOU with RMHC Korea to Strengthen Social Impact and Global Talent Development

On June 30, 2025, the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ronald McDonald House Charities Korea (RMHC Korea) at the Seoul Club in central Seoul. The agreement aims to foster sustainable collaboration in the areas of social contribution and global talent development.

The two institutions agreed to work together on various initiatives, including:

  • Internship and volunteer opportunities for UAC students
  • Joint projects such as case competitions, student supporter programs, and pop-up events
  • Guest lectures conducted by faculty and staff from both organizations
  • Other mutually agreed areas of cooperation

This partnership with RMHC Korea offers our students meaningful opportunities to make a real impact through service and learning. It reflects the University of Utah’s commitment to global citizenship, leadership, and a culture of service, and we look forward to a long-term, collaborative relationship.”

said Gregory Hill, Chief Administrative Officer of UAC.

Sue Ahn, President & CEO of RMHC Korea, also shared her thoughts:

This agreement marks the beginning of a meaningful journey between the two institutions. We hope to continue building a strong bridge of hope for children and families together with the University of Utah Asia Campus.”

Earlier this year, UAC sent 13 student volunteers to assist with booth operations at the 2025 McDonald’s Happy Walk hosted by RMHC Korea. Moving forward, both institutions plan to expand their partnership through more student-centered initiatives and experiential learning opportunities.
