On September 27, 2025, the University of Utah Asia Campus Career & Internship Development Center (CIDC) proudly hosted the IGC Career Exploration Day (Non-STEM Edition) at the UAC building. Centered on the theme “From Interest to Immersion,” the event was designed to help students move beyond curiosity and gain practical insight into how their interests translate into real-world career paths.
The event brought together students from across the Incheon Global Campus for a focused day of career discovery and professional mentoring. Through a series of mentoring lectures, students had the opportunity to engage directly with professionals from a wide range of non-STEM fields, including Marketing, Business Data Analysis, PR/Communication, Finance, Human Resources, and Sales. These sessions emphasized candid conversations about career pathways, workplace expectations, and skill development, allowing students to explore industries they may not have previously considered.

Distinguished professionals from a variety of non-STEM industries led the mentoring lectures, sharing practical insights into their respective fields and offering guidance on career pathways, workplace realities, and skill development. Through real-world examples and interactive discussions, the sessions helped students better understand how academic interests can be translated into immersive professional experiences and informed career decisions.
Student engagement was a central focus of the day. The mentoring lecture format encouraged active participation, thoughtful questions, and meaningful dialogue between students and industry professionals. Many participants shared that hearing real career stories and challenges helped them gain clarity and confidence as they begin shaping their own career plans.
The IGC Career Exploration Day (Non-STEM Edition) reinforced CIDC’s commitment to supporting students at every stage of their career development journey. By creating spaces for exploration, mentorship, and connection, CIDC continues to empower students to make informed decisions and take intentional steps toward their future careers.
