‘Experience the UAC Day’ for Class 2028 and Prospective Students


The University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC), led by Chief Administrative Officer Gregory Hill, will hold its bi-annual ‘Experience the UAC Day’ on Saturday, December 7, 2024. This event is tailored for students who recently completed the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), their parents, and other prospective university applicants. It offers a unique opportunity to experience life on an American university campus while exploring a variety of academic major.

 

Attendees will visit the UAC campus in Songdo International City, Incheon, and participate in 30-minute introductory lectures hosted by professors from nine academic programs: Accounting, Communication, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Film and Media Arts, Games, Information Systems, Psychology, and Urban Ecology.

 

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with two sessions: the first from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the second from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can select sessions based on their specific interests. Additionally, current student ambassadors will share insights about admissions preparation, scholarships, campus organizations, and student life. Brian Byun, Assistant Dean of Admissions and Marketing at UAC, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “This winter’s Experience the UAC Day provides an excellent opportunity for Class of 2028 and prospective students to engage with our academic programs and immerse themselves in American college life. We hope students leave with a clearer vision for their career paths and a desire to study at the University of Utah Asia Campus.”
