As an applicant to the University of Utah Asia Campus, you will go through the same rigorous application and admissions process as students applying to our Salt Lake City campus. You must submit the same documentation and meet the same standards to be offered admission.

Our admissions decisions are released on a rolling basis—the earlier you apply, the earlier you will hear back from us, and the more competitive you may be for both admission and scholarships.

Students who submit their online application prior to the Priority Application Deadline are given priority scholarship consideration.

Be sure to review the deadlines carefully, and as you move through the admissions process, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

If you have attended another university, you will be considered a transfer applicant. Learn more about the transfer application process.

You can apply online by submitting our online application. (Please note that Internet Explorer can cause compatibility issues. We recommend using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari to complete your application.)

The non-refundable application fee is $65.  Please do not send cash.

Transcripts (mark sheets, school records, grades) for secondary school (9-12). Official English translations must be provided if the transcripts are only in the native language.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable only from students applying from schools located outside of the USA. Eligible applicants can send unofficial transcripts to us directly at asiacampus@utah.edu or iao@utah.edu. All applicants from US-based schools are required to submit official transcripts.

Please note that before starting classes at the University of Utah, students must submit an official copy of their secondary school transcript and proof of graduation directly to the Office of Admissions
